Typhoon Haiyan, Philippines - Nov 2013

It was one of the strongest storms ever recorded with winds over 300 km/h. When it slammed into the Philippines on November 8, 2013, more than 6,000 people would die. With no power, clean water or shelter, tens-of-thousands of other lives were also at risk. The situation was especially grim and desperate in Tacloban. We hopped from Manila to Cebu to Panay Island finally ending in the city of Roxas where the Canadian Disaster Assistance Relief Team (DART) was based.
