Oslo Massacre - July 2011
OSLO - In the summer of 2011 Norway was shaken by a so-called 'lone wolf' terrorist attack staged by far-right extremist Anders Breivik. First a car bomb outside the offices of the country's Prime Minister killed 8 people in central Oslo. Then two hours later there was second attack at a summer camp on Utoya Island where the youth wing of the ruling Labour Party were gathered. Sixty-nine people were gunned down.
