Covering the World

Based in Prague, Stuart Greer is a reporter and video producer for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL).  With 25 years of experience as a broadcast journalist, Stuart has reported from more than 30 countries covering many of the biggest international news stories of the last decade. In 2017, Stuart was at the NATO Summit in Brussels and covered U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to Warsaw. Before returning to Prague, Stuart was European Bureau Chief for Canada's Global News in London, UK. He also worked for the British broadcaster  Sky News and CBS News in London.

Germanwings Crash - March 2015

SEYNES-LES-ALPES - In the morning of March 24th Germanwings flight 9525 suddenly disappeared from radar screens as it flew from Barcelona to Düsseldorf with 150 people on board. To shock of travellers and the global aviation industry the cause often crash appears to have been pilot suicide.

Charlie Hebdo Attack - January 2015

PARIS - The French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo had been firebombed and received threats before, but the scale of the attack on January 7th shocked France and the world. The military-style raid and cold blooded murder of 10 journalists, a body guard and a police officer introduced Europe to a new kind of terror.
